- Get the results they really want— Although using the treadmill and elliptical will enable you to burn calories and subsequently lose weight, that is only half the battle to getting a toned and sexy body. After losing all of the weight you wish, you will need to lift weights in order to tone and perfect your body. Weight lifting will add all of the curves and muscles you desire.
The idea that lifting weights will only make a woman look bigger needs to be realized as a myth. Lifting weights in moderation will strengthen muscles, and is necessary for a good, balanced workout.
